Jeff is a Wealth Strategist and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) at AWM Capital. Prior to joining AWM Capital he spent 3 years as an advisor for an RIA, specializing in creating and executing financial plans for the firm’s most affluent clients.
His passion for financial education and literacy began as a college athlete at UCLA through an extended internship with the National College Players Association. He also helped his teammates with cash flow management, helping them proactively plan for their monthly income and expenses. After spending NFL off-seasons interning at a venture capital and investment management firm, Jeff gave financial education presentations to the NFL rookie groups for each of the teams he played on.J
eff and his partner Makela reside in Calabasas, CA with their two dogs. Jeff loves hiking, golfing, reading books across various genres, and cheering on his former UCLA and NFL teammates on Sunday.
He is also a board member and mentor of the 3rd Decade, a non-profit that provides financial education and conflict-free financial mentoring for young adults.
Jeff played in the NFL for 5 seasons. He was drafted in the 5th round of the NFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings, playing there for 4 seasons before continuing his career with the Colts, Lions, and 49ers.
Prior to his time in the NFL, Jeff was a 4-year starter as a punter and kickoff specialist at UCLA. He was a team captain, 1st-Team all PAC-12, and semi-finalist for Ray Guy award given to the top collegiate punter. As a high school senior, Jeff was the #1 ranked punter in nation. Jeff still holds the Arizona high school state record for longest field goal (63 yards) and is a inaguaral member of his High School's Hall of Fame.
